15 Life Hacks To Live a More Flavorful Life

Life is hard. It is constantly changing, updating and improving upon itself. With things moving as quickly as they do, it can be tough to keep up. That is why we decided to share 15 of our favorite life hacks. From cleaning and organizing to improving your coffee experience, these hacks will help you live a flavorful, and, hopefully, simplifier life.

1. Pour coffee into an ice cube tray. Freeze and add to your morning iced coffee – it will keep it from getting watered down.
2. Eating a banana or avocado can help you relax and feel happier.
3. Puffy eyes? Soak 2 green tea bags in hot water. Get fully saturated and then squeeze out any excess water and let cool on plate. Once cool enough, lay down and place a bag over each eye. Relax for a bit then remove – helps reduce the puffiness and leaves you feeling refreshed!
4. Don’t want to spend money on facial masks? Puree cucumbers for a moisturizing and natural mask. Add a bit of flour and honey to the mix to keep it from dripping off your face.
5. Have scars from those pesky pimples? Then just dab on a bit o’ honey, leave on for a few hours and wipe clean. Honey helps heal the scars.
6. All out of make up remover? Try using baby oil, it gets rid of the make up easily and leaves your skin hydrated.
7. If you’re moving, use a trash bag for the clothes in your closet. You can slip them in and tie a know on the hangers. Simply hook them into your new closet and remove the trash bags.
8. If you’ve just bought a new shower curtain, wash it first with salt water. This will prevent it from getting moldy.
9. Wrap different colored rubber bands around cords to easily find the correct one for each device.
10. Keeping colorful, paint keys with different colored nail polish to easily differentiate each.
11. And if you are having trouble opening your nail polish, wrap rubber bands around the top!
12. Use a fork when eating cupcakes to get the perfect bite every time – and keep your hands clean!
13. Take smaller bites and eat slower to help facilitate weight loss. Eating slower can also help reduce stress, help with digestion and make your food taste better.
14. Dirty microwave? Place ½ cup water into a microwavable bowl. Cut a lemon in half and squeeze the juice into the water and then drop the lemon halves into the bowl. Microwave for 3 minutes, let stand for 5 minutes (don’t open the door!). Once the 5 minutes are up, you can easily wipe down the inside!
15. If you’re like us, then you probably hate spiders. Lemons, oranges and limes actually repel spiders. Mix one or all into a spray bottle with water and spray around doors and windows.
